I tried, but it looked the same menial drivel that hacks are commissioned to write during the obliging moment when the films are released. Oru nalla angle vEnum.

Groucho,
thank you for coming with a writeup on Bond.... I liked the chronological order of reaching bond movies in asian market....I'm wondering it. what's the selection criteria's for the role other than Scottish descent? I knoe that he cann't be an asian, desi, african, afro-american... Did flemming describe the features of the spy in his books?

Scottish descent was added after Dr. No appeared in 1962 (mentioned in his "obituary" in the You Only Live Twice novel), after Fleming was impressed with Connery*. Or, it could also be that he was of Scottish root as well.
Off my mind, he is described as tall, dark cruel looks. More info here.
Usually, they pick anyone in the Great Britain, Australia/NZ. As you know, they went bonkers and almost had three Americans play Bond (Burt Reynolds, Eastwood, James Brolin).
*further proof that Fleming approves of the film, and is influenced by it is the novels 1962 onwards started including funny one liners (YOLT especially, though its very dark) and in OHMSS novel, in a party scene he included actress Ursula Andress.

Venkki, If there was a "display pic of the month" award then I would vote for you. Javier Bardem, will definitely be in the list of most memorable bond villains!
