    Easy Chicken

    Hi....Iam Ayesha and i love food....cooking, eating, both!! This dish was actually a hastily made one which turned out very yummmmmmmmy! I hope you like it.

    Easy Chicken

    chicken - 1, cut into 8 to 10 pieces
    yogurt - 2 tbsp
    salt
    chopped coriander leaves (garnish)
    garam masala (cardamom, clove and cinnamon-dry roasted and powdered)

    grind together the following:
    onion-1
    tomato-1
    ginger - a small piece
    garlic - 8 to10 cloves
    turmeric, red chilli , coriander , cumin ( powders) - 1/4 tsp each
    black pepper powder - 1 tsp
    coriander leaves - a few sprigs

    method:
    wash chicken,drain and add all ingredients.
    marinate for hour an hour ( to 2 hrs).
    In a non stick pan, heat a little oil and place the chicken with the masala.
    cook till chicken is done and the masala is dry.
    squeeze half a lemon (optional)
    serve with rice or rotis.

    Hi Ayesha, will try your recepie this weekend.

    Try this, one of my kids favourite.

    Chicken With Black soya sauce

    Chicken – 12 pieces
    Turmeric powder – 1 tb spoon
    Salt a pinch

    Mix all together and marinate 15 mins.
    Deep fried and let it cool.


    To prepare the sauce

    Thick soya sauce – 3 table spoon
    2 Big onion – sliced round
    Ginger – 1 inch – cut in small
    Garlic – 4 cut small
    Sugar – 5 table spoon
    Chili powder – 11/2 table spoon
    Salt for taste.
    Oil – 3 table spoon.

    Heat the oil in the pan, add the sliced ginger and garlic and cooked a while.
    Add the onion and cooked until the aroma comes out. Now add the chili powder, salt and sugar,soya sauce and pour ½ cup water and let it boiled.
    Add the fried chicken and cooked for another 5 mins.

    Ready to serve with plain rice

    iam sure my daughter wud like it....she likes the taste of soya sauce...infact she adds so much in her chicken soup that it turns brown...i call that soya soup !!
