what do you think of social networking services

nowadays there are many social networking services such as :-
friends reunited
hi5
friendster

these sites basically "meant to unite old friends from high school , college , current friends , etc"

i was browsing through these sites because i am in one of these sites. just viewing profiles of people whom i used 2 go to school with. some have changed dramatically in terms of looks , personality/attitude wise...

want to pop this question .. would you reconnect with your old friends/enemies/boyfriend/girlfriend?
because whenever i see their profile , all i can think of is their behaviour in school days...
