I dunno whether he sang lullaby for his grand childrenor not but I read in singer chitra's interview that she took her kid when she was 1 month old to ilaiyaraja's home to get his blessing. He placed her on the piano and played some tune for her.

Worth more than the lullaby. Definitely lucky & blessed kid.

Sorry if this deviates from the actual post.

    Swathy, njv :
Regarding that lullaby for Chitra's kid, I still remember the words from her interview in Vikatan. Chitra is blessed with a daughter after 16 years of marriage and she mentions that after her birth, she took her out only on 2 occasions, once to Guruvayur and the other to IR to seek his blessings.

It seems IR placed the baby on the piano and played a tune. According to the interview, Chitra said "Ivalukku (daughter) kushi thaangala, enakku kannula thanni vandhiduchu". The emotion was understandable - right?

Hi guys,it' me again.I met IR again at his Prasad studio.....Sorry I was not able to elaborate much on my previous meet int he month of March 2006.I was hardly in the country...and didn't have the time to do so.
Well my recent visit inthe month of July, once again I managed to get his blessings.Such a wonderful person he is,luckily he could recall me.he was in a discussion with Panchu for his new movie. So I didn't want to take much of his time, just some casual chat,belssings...thats it.
I would update you guys later.
