I cant help remembering my times with cousins and other elders whilst we watch tv (atleast in theatre its dark, noone can see our embarassment)
I would STARE at the tv, absolutely without emotion, or even better, with an angry face, so that they dont realise, I am embarassed watching any awkward scene (darn no fastforward too)
I would think, going out or getting up to drink water, would make them UNDERSTAND, I am embarassed. so, RIGHT THERE, i would sit, staring at the scene, EMOTIONLESS and with an angry face
(though inside I would wish earth could open up and swallow me, to save me from this embarassment)
I try the same method in theatre, I would NOT SMILE, or laugh or react to the scene, but keep staring it at without emotions at all.
Seriously its very embarassing to look at anyone's face after we come out of theatre, esp if the movie is bad or if its senti (cause I would try to hold back my tears when I come out of theatre )
