    Do u mean Gongura pachadi made of leaves??

    I have the recipe for gongura pachadi if u want to try...

    Wash the gongura leaves well..
    dry the leaves so as theres no water anywhere in them(otherwise pachadi will spoil soon).
    Saute gongura leaves in little oil till the leaves are shrunk and the raw smell is gone. Keep aside to cool. and then grind this in blender(if the leaves are small and u can chop them small u dont have to necessary grind, but i prefer to).
    Cut some garlic, onions and green chillies. In seasoning oil add mustard , jeera, hing, curry leaves and then add garlic and saute for a while till brown and raw smell is gone and keep this aside and then add onions. saute the onions till brown and soft and then add sauteed garlic and sauteed gongura leaves/paste and mix them all , add salt and add more red chilli powder if required and mix them and saute for a while till everything is well blended.
    let it cool down.

    store this in a dry airtight jar. do not use wet spoons or let any drop of water get into the jar otherwise it will get spoilt.

    I do not remember any gongura chutney made of flowers. I think that flowers are yellow like Okra flowers. Gongulra pacchadi ( there are at least two versions) is green and reasonable quality pickle is available from Priya Pickles. There are available in most Indian cities and in USA and Australia. The best home made gongura pickle I tasted is from the village of Karamchedu. It was in Guntur District earlier and may be in Ongole District now. It is near Cheerala (on Chennai-Vijayawada route).
    In October I met an old friend in New york and he still remembered the gongura pickle he ate in our house in 80's and I duly gave him a bottle of Priya gongura pickle on the way back in New Delhi.
    Good Luck.

    The only thing I dont like in botteled readymade pickles including Priya is the smell of preservatives which somehow spoils the pickle for me .

    I wud sugest u try & find sum 'home-made' pickles to take rather than the commercial brands.......eg. Joshi's pickles, they don't seem to put ne artificial preservatives in their pickles.......altho I donno if u can get it outside AP.......
