Valhlhal in Tamil means a GENOUROUS OFFERER..

True to the sense of the Formula he made as .. ANBAE SIVAM («ý§À º¢Åõ) in Tamil... meaning God is Love / Lord Siva means Love / Lord Siva means Mangalam...

.. During his Lifetime...Thiru Ramalinga Swami was so generous by heart towards anybody and everybody even towards Strangers, his Enemies and worst Critics who mocked and ridiculed at him unreasonably.

... By God Sivas grace he showered the beautiful Tamil composition
of THIRUVARUTPAA... some Poets who were jealous of his quick popoularity.. criticised it as...

... It is NOT THIRUVARUTPAA... but only VERUM MARUTPAA. ..

On hearing such demeaning Ridicule... he just smiled and ignored.

If anyone Farmer is heard to starve due to poverty, he used to shed tears immediately and personally rush and give him food.

During the worst famines for want of Rains... he instituted ANNADHAANMA SAMAAJAM and arranged for Poor- feeding, by personally collecting money door to door.

.. which sort of Social-service was considered BEYOND THE SCOPE of any Acetic or Saint... especially a Religious preacher.

So he was considered exceptional and Unique in that aspect too.

He also instituted a JOTHI VAZHIPAATTU MANRHAM.. (§ƒ¡¾¢ ÅÆ¢À¡ðÎ ÁýÈõ) and initiated a Novel way of Worshipping the Jothi (Light Flame) alone as the Embodiment of God.... and that Jothi is another form of Lord Siva the exceptionally merciful Great Unique ...
