May her soul rest in peace.

Our heartfelt condolences to her family.

Jikki and P.Leela were my favourite singers.
    Both are gone.

Some of her songs in 'Thangamalai Ragasiyam' are classics.

    A great and versatile singer.

On par with any other greats!

    Hearty condolences.

What a voice PL's. Very powerful. Though she was a malayalee (Palakkad native), she had the perfection in Tamil language. Her Narayaneeyam is a great album for all devotees of Lord Guruvayoorappan.

Dinathanthi says that she remained unmarried and was living her elder sister in Porur next to Chennai.

Konjum sadangai oli kEttu, Kaathiruppan kamala kaNNan, Aha inba nilavinile, Raja magaL roja malar etc etc will a big list of PL's ever green songs.

May her soul rest in peace.

Really a shock news to hear PL amma is no more.

    Recently I heared the songs
    "Aasai konda nenjirandum pesugindra podu
    aadatha silagalum aadaatho"

    and

    "Nenjil kudiyirukkum anbarukku naanirukkum
    nilamai ennavendru theriyuma"

    from 'Irumbuthirai'

No doubt, her songs are treasures.

May her soul rest in peace.
My hearty condolences to her family.
