I just read the news on cinesouth and it says Shankar will directing Super Star Rajni Kanth for AVM Production? Wow... This is an excellent news..

The most expected news, which gives happy to the fans of Rajini is announced today.


superstar Rajnikanth and top director Shankar are coming together in a film, which is produced by AVM Banner. This will be one of the biggest film making banner in South India. Shankar has started work on the script of the film which will be released next year.

AVM Saravanan said, "It will be our 168th film which will be released in our diamond jubilee year. The coincidence is that it is the 9th film for Rajini in AVM banner and for Shankar it is 9th film as a director".

The film is also important as it is Rajni’s next film after the great success of 'Chandramukhi' and Shankar’s next project after that record breaking 'Anniyan' with Vikram.
