The current indian team reminds me of the team 15 years ago..
batting -- Very powerful against Zimbabwe, Bangladesh...and nobody else, It was Srilanka back then, now it is Bangladesh.
while fielding...
the ball is escorted to the boundary by one or two guys.
Sometimes three or four guys dive but none stops the ball ...
Bowling...
You have to decide whether the guy is a fast bowler or a spinner only by the distance he is running and not by the speed of the ball!!
It's all comming back...........

Thiru...
Chappell.... more than anything else... will face a tough test from the press and the media....Either he should ignore or handle very diplomatically..
Ganguly as usual will have the backing of Dalmiya....
In this episode, Ganguly is maintaining a diplomatic silence.... Probably he had done his homework with Dalmiya...

How can any cricket lover not follow it ,that too when it's front page news.
Greg has opened a can of worms&it needed a straight, upright man like him who calls a spade a spade to do that.
Most neutral cricket lovers will agree to his comments that Sourav doesn't deserve a place in the team as batsman/bowler/fielder let alone be captain.
it's also common knowledge that he has his own set of favourites like Harbhajan,Yuvraj,Zaheer.Result- these guys play irrespective of how they are performing. With a powerful guy like Dalmiya supporting him,Sourav went beserk on/off the field&clearly John Wright did not stand up to him.
Greg is no push over&Sourav is finding it difficult to run the show.
Anyway,I don't think the review committe will come up with any drastic solutions. They will just try to postpone taking hard decisions&wish the problems will vanish away. With Greg I don't think something like that will happen.
As I am typing this comes the news that the BCCI has told the media"Greg&Sourav must work together".So there.
I hope Chappel puts his foot down, gives Ganguly the boot&instills some discipline into this team.
It's not enough to say we want to be world beaters, you should have the will&mental strength to work towards it,a quality sadly lacking in most members of this Indian team.[/b]

I dont know whether we can call this return to form.. Playing inside India, in a flat track where the best short pitch would reach your hips against a bowling attack of bhandari, mishra, gagandeep singh.... Well atleast this is a start..
