My favourites of Jency are songs from Johny & Vizhiyil vizhunthu

I think most of us are unable to differentiate between the voices of Jency and B.S.Sasirekha.

"Vizhiyil vizhundu" is by BSS only. and even "Vizihiyorathu kanavum inRu" in Rajapaarvai with kamal is also by BS.

BTW I heard Jency the sister of singer Jolly Abraham.

Another glorious hit of the late 70s…

Wish to mention about this movie… Incidentally, it was the first movie SPB sang for BR movie !!. He infact will start with … Mudhal mudhalaaga kaadhal duet paada vandhenay…

All songs in this movie are hits. It was a different BR movie ..

This song of Iruparavaigal .. Was by Radhika with Sudhakar… a solo song..

IR at his best using guitar interludes ….customary and trademark IR touches….

In my opinion... the best part of the song was..... neeendrum eni naan endrum azaikavum pirikavum mudiyaadhamaa

Ys yes, both are of Sasirekha's only.. Thats for sure.

Jolly Abraham... of Adiyenai paaramaa... Vanakarthukuriya kaadhaliyay fame...

Its quite interesting to note that Jency is his sister....

Jolly also sang .. Meen reena geetha from Oru thalai raagam.. but could not carry on further.. .Probably moved to Kerala cinema

Through your previous post, you created another doubt:

"Muthal muthalaaga kaathal duet paada vandhene" from NMPookkal. You mentioned it is by SPB. But I am in doubt it is Malaysia Vasudevan.

Listen these lines:

"Seetha en kaatha kodiye kan paarammaa..
aathaaram neeyilllaamal verethamma" exactly MV's tone.

next line "adhu yaara andha pen".."ORU NADIGAIYAMMA" (sure it should be MV).

next line:
"Zeenath en kanavil vandhaal un polave..
Singaara paavai undhan vadivaagave"...

again:
"enai poloru penn"......"INDHA ULAGIL ILLAI" (No doubt it is MV only).

I am saying this EMPHATICALLY... that its from SPB SPB SPB only !!!

Probabably all the change of voice inbetween ( for that andi !! )were also of SPB's only.

To add to this I am recollecting one programme of SPB where he himself mentioned about this song that eventhough he and BR were good friends , he could not get into his movies but this was the first opportunity for him to sing and it was a coincidence that the lyrics also ... mentioning
