All these movies might not be commercial hits but they did cause flutters at the time of release and lived up to the expectations either in the mainstream or in the panoramic category.

In one interview, Kamal noted that there is this thing called "Sivajikku Mun" and "Sivajikku Pin", like AD and BC.

For me, I never watched fully any of the movie before Sivaji era. So, it will be difficult for me to list all time greats.

though i agree that many of shivaji and kamal movies have been memorable but i cant agree that only shivaji and kamal made good movies........

There are 3 MGR movies and 2 rajini movies in my list .However Taste differs for every individual .For you Maya Bazar is better than Veerapandiya kattabomman and Thiruvilayadal ,but for me it is unimaginable .Anyway ,Nice nice to see few movies we both have in our list

yes joe, Nayagan is my all time fav movie in any language ......also, Punnagai Mannan is the best love story i have seen (xcept for the ending) with IR's gr8 music and Kamal's near to perfection acting......also, paasa malar was a display of shivaji acting prowess......the diff. he shows in the innocent "kooli thozhizhali" and "rich sophisticated businessman" is some thing which only shivaji can do.......i like the movie just for shivaji's acting but movie had no relevance in today's world where u cant sacrifice so much for ur sister.......

shivaji and kamal have many memorable movies to their credit.......i left out thiruvilayadal/thillana mohanambaal bcos it wud be a very common choice........ ........

forgot to add kizhakku cheemayile in drama list......excellent movie with a pretty near to relevance annan-thangachi movie.....
