Gout - Can any one suggest the diet?

Recently, I had GOUT attack.

Can anyone suggest the diet to be followed?
I have to avoid protien..But protien exists in almost all the foods..

Please also suggest the cure either western or indian medicines..

My thatha had gout. Avoid all fatty foods, also foods containing yeast. there are good medicines to control gout even in India. You will be okay.

My cousin has been having Gout since last year. He has avoid Cauliflower, Non Veg, Greens, Kabuli Channa, drinks, and all food with protein in it.
