I finished watching it. After giving me a 30 mins break I am posting this. I badly needed it. Not because I am totally scared but you know its a weird feeling Like some of those Lynch movies give you.

I was watching it with two friends of mine. One left after the *phone* scene and the other at the very end (feet scene) and I was forced to watch alone

Dint quite understand the movie completely, but it has got me thinking :P But I dont think I will watch another Miike movie in the next ten days atleast

    And yeh, strongly recommended

oh yes, the phone scene and the man in the sack moving for the first time made me sit up with a jolt. And the girl's smile when she hears the phone ringing is unforgettable. Did you know that the girl was not acting when she was 'preparing' the food for her captive? I went crazy after reading that. All I could think of was: "What a sadistic b****** Miike is.."

Here is what wiki says: "He is known for his black sense of humor and for pushing the boundaries of censorship as far as they will go." I for one accept it.
"Why do we need filmmaking equipment?"
"Because, Marcel, my sweet, we're going to make a film. Just for the Nazis."

Exactly. And the kiri kiri ( or whatever, that means deeper) thing was spine-chilling and unforgettable as well.

Happy viewing ! No amount of warning can prepare you for what is in store..

Oh, BTW found this BBC interview with Miike on youtube:
"Why do we need filmmaking equipment?"
"Because, Marcel, my sweet, we're going to make a film. Just for the Nazis."
