The construction site scene was well done. Story is good...I thought it would have ended earlier and felt there were too many turning points...still....

Babel
Now that it has won a golden globe, its a must watch. This, IMO is not as good as innaritu's first two movies (Ameros Perros and 21 grams) but it is certainly the best this year. Odds are pretty high for an oscar

Really cool movie. Some really cool acting, great camera work and amazing art direction. Story is nothing new but the way the movie is shot is pretty cool. Check it out sometime.
Movie stars Bruce willis , Josh Hartnet and Lucy Liu.

Weekend of Japanese movies. I became a big fan of Takashi Miike after watching 'Audition' and 'Dead or Alive'. I rented 'Visitor Q' this weekend and was not disappointed. Extremely violent and sexual in Miike's own way, the movie is as disturbing as is satisfying. It tells the story of a dysfunctional family, whose way of life changes after a stranger's visit. Not for the faint of heart though.
'Battle Royale' was the other movie I watched. A group of Japanese school children are left to fight and kill each other off until only one survives. Again the movie is extremely violent, but raises important questions about modern life style and state policing.
Looks like the Japanese aren't content with making 'normal' movies anymore. But I am not complaining. In fact, they are so much different from the usual fare that's on offer these days .

Night at the museum
good entertaining movie with few decent comedy at intervals.
Beginning of the films starts very slow, so slow that i though the movie is going to be total crap but it got much better as the story moved on.
Worth a watch
