IDHU ORU KADHAL KATHAI

A full-fledged love story is being attempted for the first time on Tamil television. Vijay TV launches Idhu oru Kadhal Kathai, the story of Janaki and Sakthivel from two different castes falling for each other and the problem they face in their families and society. KB�s Minbimbangal produces this mega serial.

Janaki is a middle class Brahmin girl; her father wants her to become an IAS officer. She meets Sakthivel, a Devar boy by accident. Sakthivel falls in love with Janaki and she reciprocates.
Their love intensifies as time progresses. The love of Sakthivel and Janaki is not welcome by their parents. Obstacles come one after the other for the lovers, but do they overcome all the hurdles and unite in life?

Sruthi and Prajan play the lead pair. Peeli Sivam, Varadharajan, Vincent Roy, Shanthi Ganesh are the other major cast. Directed by A.P.Rajendran, this Monday- Thursday serial will be on air from today (28.03.2005) onwards between 20.30-21.00 hrs.
