viggop: Here are some books you might want to get:
1. Sri Kruthi maNi maalai vol 1 and 2 - Ranagaramanuja Ayyangar. These two volumes have the compositions of Thyagaraja with meaning and notation.(in Tamil)
2. Sri Thyagarajaswami keerthanaigaL by T.S.Parthasarathi
Also has meaning without notation (in Tamil)
I can translate what is given in these books into English.
Translating from Telugu to Tamil to English will lose a lot. Unfortunately my knowledge of Telugu is very limited.

Here is the meaning from T.K.Govinda Rao's book:
O Raghunandana! Guard me from the sides, front and rear. Destroyer of Asuras like Mura and Khara! Come soon. I have not seen anyone more beautiful than you.
As a moon rising in the celebrated ocean of the solar race, hero of unmatched valour! Come in state, with the kOdaNDa bow in hand, accompanied by Lakshmana, ever at your beck and call to serve you!
Protector of Gajendra! Prince of Ayodhya! Soul of praNava nAda! Come, lover of bhAgavatAs! Protect me well, come!. come!.
