As soon as the Kauravas and the Pandavas had acquired mastery in the science of arms, Drona sent Karna and Duryodhana to seize Drupada and bring him alive, in discharge of the duty they owed to him as their master.
They went as ordered by him, but could not accomplish their task. Then the master sent forth Arjuna on the same errand. He defeated Drupada in battle and brought him and his minister captives to Drona.

The above statement was written in a book "mahabarata retold by RAJAJI". Is this true?

Realizing that this was an elaborate plan to starve them to death, Gandhari’s father declared that none but his youngest son would eat the sparse food being served, so that at least one amongst them would survive to avenge the death of the rest. The youngest son of king Subala was Shakuni. He survived and swore not to rest until all of Kuru kingdom is destroyed . He used the bones of his father to make the dice with which he was able to defeat the Pandavas in the gambling match, and thus which eventually led to the war at Kurukshetra and also to the destruction of entire Kuru clan. His father twisted his one leg to give him a permanent limp as a constant reminder of revenge. Guess the dice used by shakuni was made of his father's ashes......
You are correct. This is what i heard from people.

During Draupadi's swayumvara , she insults Karna by saying "suthaputhra" and because of that he is not allowed to lift shivadhanush . This insult is not regarded as "adharma" by Krishna ? but during the gambling when pandavas and draupadi looses the game, Karna says few word "Remembering" his insult by her, here Krishna says this is adharma!

Where is the logic of Karma here?? So is Dharma and Adharma made for one's convenient ?
