Actually this poem is an expression of guilt through realism. I do not know how to name an imaginative form wherein the heart imagines itself as a tree ( magical realism?). The entire episode is about the efforts of a heart to have a catharsis - to get rid of the different masks it has to wear to conceal it's black thoughts.
Sorry for the english fonts.. My Tamil fonts have gone for a toss again..
