    Balki's Ki & Ka songs

Balki has three composers for his upcoming Hindi release "Ki & Ka". Which are the songs composed by Maestro? I can recognize Maestro's by the Guitar rendition for two songs.

The "High Heels" by Honey Singh is a mediocre beat and typical Bollywood dance tune. Nothing unusual here.

Rajsekar, I am not sure if these are songs from Ki and Ka movie. As per below trailer, the music composers are Ilaiyaraaja, Meet Brothers and Mithoon. IR has composed one song (Fool Ishq) and doing the BGM.

Below trailer/poster slides has music by IR:

it is too early to say if I like Game songs or not. (at least I don't feel like I want to hear the songs one more time right away)

ondhu manjina bindhu by Ramya NSK? it is so annoying to find her singing in the same style (oru madhiri konji konjittu) soooo monotonous.

I am still curious to find out why Raja sir agreed to work in only one song+bgm for Ki & Ka. He did something similar with Lajja for which he composed Lata mangeshkar's Kaun Dagar (everyone spoke so much of this but I never understood and appreciated Raja sir + Lata's efforts) and Lajja's bgm, its theme music was well appreciated in those days.

For Lajja, Raj Kumar Santoshi approached IR at a later stage only for BGM. Not sure why IR agreed, probably the woman-centric theme appealed to him. On the director's request, he composed "Kaun Dagar" song. The song was not great, but decent, especially charanam portion. The BGM of this movie had really nice bits (and appreciated by press; I remember one online review mentioned it as "truly hollywood style BGM" for a hindi movie) and the style/sound was different from what he composed for Hey Ram. Both used Hungary symphony orchestra. Yes, many of my friends also liked theme music of Lajja.

For Ki and Ka, as per the online reports, it was T-series (they are music producers of Ki and Ka) who brought in multiple composers. Balki also agreed. It is all market driven.

"...He has told a Mumbai tabloid tersely: “Ilayaraja is the music director of the film. He has done the main song and is also doing the music of the film.”

    thanks,

Agreed about market conditions and the forces controlling.

As it goes " Kazhudaikku theriyuma karpoora vaasanai"
Spell it the way gounder would enact.........thats it.

    Summa marketing perla kuppaya kotturome..

All this will change very soon.

You can also listen to the song here....

A good poppish song with catchy tune, nice drums and guitar. IR has kept it as a english pop melody format, so variations/variety in terms of tune/orchestration is short.

    thanks,
