I think it was composed by Thayumanavar Swamy...because the refrain Paraparame is there in the song, which I think is peculiar to Thayumanavar.
I remember distinctly that I downloaded it from coolgoose. It was MS and as always, a heavenly rendering. But, while moving from the US to Australia, I somehow lost the CD where I had copied that song into!!

Here is the link to a complete translation in English of all his 1400 verses...I thought I posted this, but for some reason, it is missing!

raga/lyric of this tamil song
Would like to know the raga and the full lyrics of this song. I only know a part of it and is very melodious...
maalai mayanguginRa nEram - pacchai
xxx aruvi Oram
kaalai kamala malar pOla mugam malarak
kaNdEn kaadhal koNdEn
It sounds a little like punnAga varALi. I am not sure, though... This is probably a very old (Black and White era) movie song.

Hello Everyone,
I dont know how to sing, but i have an interest to listen and to learn. I have a lyrics request for a song sung by Sanjay Subrahmanyam in 2004 december during the music festival.
It starts something like "Eshan anbai" or in the middle , I dont know the song as i wasn't there. But i heard that, it starts like that, If you couldn't get it then i can ask the exact words.
Thankyou so much for the hubbers who are providing the lyrics and doing a great service.
If you could give me some examples i can point out.
En Namaskarams....
