As per the diagram attached and as my knowledge, any vehicle crossing any traffic island, should take only circular road for right turn and if it is so, then the Fountain is the one which is blocking vision if at all there is any such. The right turn from Kamarajar Salai to Radhakrishnan Salai has to be made only circum navtigating the Fountain and not diagonally in beteen the fountain and the statue. This point has to be raised in the argument. Similarly there is enough space for vehicles coming from Radhakrishnan Salai to turn right to Kamarajar Salai which again has to be made circumnavigating the fountain. Similarly for those who want to make U turn at Kamarajar Salai from IG Office should also circumnavigate the fountain. In all the possibilities there is no issue of traffic snarl here since there is ample space for vehicle movement around the fountain. The space between the statue will be used only for two kinds of movement - one for right turn from Radhakrishnan Salai to Kamarajar Salai and the other for U turn from IG office. And this is the normal system followed in any traffic island in the city. In all probabilities, the statue of Sivaji obstructing the vsion is only an assumption and not reality.
