A couple of days back we had reported that Ilayathalapathy Vijay had extended his helping hand for the smooth release of Simbu’s upcoming film Vaalu. This honorable initiative by Vijay has amassed some great respect and accolades from some of the biggies in the industry.

Apparently producers like RB Choudary, Kalaipuli Thanu, Escape Artists Madan, AVM Balasubramanian, Five Star Kathiresan, Telugu producer KS Rama Rao are some of the industry giants to shower praise for Vijay’s noble act.

Producer Thanu who is producing Vijay's upcoming film directed by Atlee, has apparently gone on to praise Vijay as a real hero. We hear even the theatre owners are happy with a star like Vijay coming in support of his peer.

கடந்த 5 வருடங்களில் துப்பாக்கி,கத்தியை தவிர்த்து விஜய் நடித்து வெளி வந்த படங்கள்- காவலன்,வேலாயுதம்,நண்பன்,தலைவா,ஜில்லா.

அஜித்தின் பில்லா-2, சூர்யாவின் மாற்றன் இரண்டுமே FLOP படங்கள் என எல்லோருக்கும் தெரியும்.
அஜித் FLOP படத்தை காட்டிலும் விஜய்யின் படங்கள் வேலாயுதம்,நண்பன் குறைவாக வசூல் செய்து இருக்கிறதே அது ஏன்? சூர்யாவின் மாற்றன் படத்திற்கும் அந்த படங்களுக்கும் கூட பெரிய வித்யாசம் இல்லை.

தலைவா படம் அதுக்கும் குறைவாகத்தான் வசூல் செய்து இருக்கிறது. விஜய் தலைவா படத் தோல்வியால் பணத்தை திருப்பி கொடுத்தார் என்று கூட செய்தி அப்பொழுது வந்தது.

விஜய்க்கு வெற்றி படங்கள் என்றால் அது துப்பாக்கியும்,கத்தியும் மட்டும் தான். அதுக்கு முக்கிய காரணம் முருகதாஸ். அந்த 2 படங்களிலும் விஜய்யை தவிர அஜித்,சூர்யா நடித்து இருந்தாலும் ஓடி இருக்கும்.

So கடந்த 5 வருடங்களில் விஜய்யால் தான் இந்த படம் ஓடியது என எந்த படத்தையும் கூற முடியவில்லை. அப்புறம் எப்படி அவரை KING OF KOLLYWOOD என கூறுகிறீர்கள்.

விஜய் ரசிகர்களே காமெடி எதுவும் பண்ணாமல் தகுந்த விளக்கம் அளிக்குமாறு அன்புடன் கேட்டு கொள்கிறேன்.

Simple.. The movies that you mentioned were released with either lesser screen count because of other biggie releases on the same day. Nanban was a remake of a film which had a glorious run all over the world. Kaavalan had political pressure from DMK, Sun Pics and Studio Green and was released with a very less screen count. Velayudham had to share screens with 7Arivu but still ended up as an above average grosser while the later was adjudged as an average fare because of the budget. Maatraan was declared as a flop because of the same reason. High budget and the price at which the film was sold based on the success of the combo with theor previous film Ayan. Jilla had to take on Veeram. To be honest, both the films suffered because of that clash.

Regarding Billa 2, I dont want to comment on its BO verdict. You can take that Panchayath to the Ajith thread and discuss with his fans. All i can say is a 2 hour long movie gets more shows than a 3 hour movie and hence good numbers.

Nobody denied that Thuppakki and Kaththi had the Murugadoss factor to give us the extra boost to crash whatever competition we faced. But films like Ezhaam Arivu and Holiday too had the same factor. But didnt do anything extraordinary in the BO.

Billa-2 also had a huge hype going in so it obviously collected a lot of money before word of mouth got around.
