This is out and out an NT show even though ample support has been provided by thespians like GG and Padmini. When we serve an old wine in a new bottle we must be doubly careful in analysing the paradigm shift in the tastes of the viewers in tandem with the generation gap.

At the time of its first release, situation of the mind set up of cine goers was different. Lengthy films were welcome even if they contain songs or scenes that can sag the flow of the movie's concept. But now when a younger generation is targeted for implanting the cult image our acting god, to cope up with the modern taste differences, it is inevitable to trim an old classic to add pep to the uninterrupted flow of the sequences.

I hope when we sit together with the younger fans, we can understand the gap levels in enjoying this immortal classic in line with Karnan, as now the moral taught in this movie is patriotism rather than the human values and relationships as in Karnan at an epic proportion.

What we need is a properly trimmed old classic to fit in the modern formats and to live up to the taste differences of younger generation!!

A valuable point sivaji senthil sir The makers should sit with present younger generation people and discuss their likings taste etc before finalsing the issues. IS THE POINT OF TO BE NOTED. aS THE moviie is different from karnan a seriouus focus has to be thrown.
