The film ‘uyyAle’ a B/W film released around 1969 based on the novel by Sri Chaduranga (M Subramanyaraje urs). A very good social melodrama directed by N Laxminarayan with Rajkumar in leading role with Kalpana, Ashwath and others. Sri Vijayabhaskar has provided music to R N Jayagopal’s lyrics. Shri Ambarish (grandson of Mysore T Chowdaiah, violin genius) also known as Mandyada Gandu along with Shri Vishnuvardhan, introduced by S R Puttanna kanagal in his famous film‘nAgara hAvu’ as ‘jaleel’. Another golden song picked from the treasure. The film ‘baMgArada manuShya’ (colour) a novel based, written by Sri T K Ramarao, released during 1972 directed by Shri Siddalingaiah. Music by Shri G K Venkatesh. This is the only film, which has run nearly 2 years continuously in Karanataka, that is a record. The film has totally 5 songs, which are beautiful and melodious tuned by GKV.
