Arnold Schwarzenegger vs. Sylvester Stallone – A decade-long war

Hollywood actor, filmmaker, activist, former professional bodybuilder, and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger, who had recently expressed his desire to act in one of director Shankar’s projects, admitted that he was at loggerheads with Sylvester Stallone for almost a decade.
The latter, now 68, had appeared in a cameo in the Akshay Kumar-Kareena Kapoor starrer Bollywood movie ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ in 2009.
“It was straight out war in the 80’s between me and Stallone. We were competing with each other on all issues like who has more muscles, who has less body fat, who kills most people on screen, who has the most unique way of killing people on screen and who is getting what pay. I hated him for a decade,” Schwarzenegger said at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit here Saturday.

“It was in early 90’s when we became friends. We were mature enough to say that we have got to stop this and then we had a great time working together,” the 67-year-old actor added.

The actors came together for movies like ‘Escape Plan’ and ‘The Expendables’.

He should also understand that while some critics are particular about finding similarities between his movies and foreign movies, the general audience and even those who admired his movies like YS,Anjadhe don't really care whether his works are inspired or original. They just get irked by the fact that he lacks versatility.
