கடந்த பத்து வருடங்களாக கையில எந்த நேரமும் ஐந்து கதைகளை வைத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார் கமல்.. இது ரசிகர்களுக்கு எவ்வளவு உற்சாகம் தரவல்லது என்பதை ஒரு ரசிகராக இருந்து உணர்ந்தால் மட்டுமே முடியும். அந்த விதத்தில் ரசிகர்கள் அதிர்ஷ்டசாலிகள். அவர்கள் சக ரசிகர்களோடு அசை போட ஒன்றுக்கு மேற்பட்ட விஷயங்கள் எப்போதுமே கைவசம் இருக்கின்றன.

VR2 - needs to be released ASAP...

There is a reasonable risk that ppl might forget the context - and fail to connect - and that might impact the film's run - back to the same old 'onnumey puriyala' effect..

People's memory is short - maybe release the film with a short 10 min prelude including key scenes from VR1

^ Agreed...I know a lot of friends who've been waiting patiently for the second part to come out. They keep asking for as to when the movie's releasing as if I am Kamal Haasan himself....But anyways its always good to remind people about the earlier film...To start with , it be great if the trailer's out by the end of the year ....

Do not agree with KH here. The people involved and their larger organization are indoctrinated to only hate .. They kill anybody be it other religions/other sects of the same religion/women etc. Unfit to be a part of the modern civilized world. Yes, on this one, he is naive. He went through earlier himself with appeasement and we know what happened. You give more, they demand/take more from you. Doing what KH says will make their task only easier.

I agree with KH here....No one can disagree that this is a barbaric act. But, what KH states is actually a well read and well informed position. You see, the issue is not so simple as "those guys are evil. let's solve the problem by attacking them and finishing them off". There is a much wider problem and goes back many decades involving US and other countries and their role in the Middle east and elsewhere. If counter attacks and violence can solve this, this problem would have been solved long ago.
