Very happy that Kamal got this recognition. He is in great company barring SRK and Aishwarya Rai. But more pleasing is the news of him recovering from the leg injury. Eagerly looking forward to the release of Vishwaroopam II and Sabaash Naidu.

Till date, I have never seen "Manmadha Leelai" , I have heard my elders saying weird stuff about the movie ... , I did not exist during it's release so ,
I always wanted to know why my elders made such a big deal about the movie till i managed to watch it recently

Nothing great about manmadha leelai. Its all about the time. The time it was released, people were not used to that kind of a theme (from Shivaji, MGR, Gemini etc. movies). So must have found it rather catchy from its perverted and flirtatious outlook. Its not applicable anymore. I managed to watch it recently after a long time .... and was not a big deal.

Another one in a similar genre of extra-marital affairs is Meendum Gokila. I liked that movie better than Manmadha Leelai. Definitely more entertaining. Great acting by Sridevi. And was Deepa good .. Vatsaayana-Vatsaayana!
