Kamal Always knows when to do what! He used Sivaji in DM when his health was somewhat OK! After that NT's health started much declining, in Padayappa he was not at good health. Same goes for using KB in Uttamavillain. Now this Pothys Ad too is perfect timing!!

It will only be good for fans and others if the two immensely talented stars collaborate ... I would like to believe that the relations between them are cordial rather than just professional.

Some people talk about Kamal and Ilaiyaraja chemistry. Everyone knows they have wonderful chemistry & same thoughts about music in cinema. Music should not dominate story,screenplay,direction but it must complement to the movie in right way. Both agree to that..Ilaiyaraja understands and helps Kamal's artistic + commercial vision in cinema like devar magan,guna,mahanadi,heyram,virumandi..
But that's apart we cant always have same combo which will be boring..Also IR has aged.. Also I don't want Kamal to act with sample people always like urvashi,nasser,ramesh aravind,etc...now in last few films pooja,andrea and Ghibran..

For TV the casting is perfect and its not his usual favorites..And you see the response..

Coming to ARR he is not only commercial he can score music from artistic point of view as well..Don't relate to IR who is genius. But next to him i feel ARR is best. Those who feel ARR scored only commercials like VTV,OKK then its wrong..
He scored great music in Lagaan,swades,jodha akbar,Guru,etc post 2000..they r not only commercial but very creative & artistic as well. Now he is scoring for "Mohenjo-Daro" which i can assure will be great..
He likes to experiment and kamal also likes to experiment..Both can provide great Commercial+experiment movies..

If both join then it will be great for TFI..

Naran was a science fiction comedy with Kamal in the lead and Amitabh Bachchan was rumored to play the role of a scientist. The pooja happened immediately after the success of Tenali. But since the producer PL Tenappan was afraid of the budget, the film was shelved and they made Panchathandiram with a relatively lesser budget.

Marmayogi was started after Dasavatharam and they had even recorded two songs. But since the producers Pyramid Saimeera had some financial issues because of their flop projects, the film was dropped.
