    I wasn't talking about it ...I meant that cheap work on Twitter and Facebook to bring puli down..you wouldn't be aware of it so we drop it here...

    It very well can. I think the most prominent example I can think of is the Hollywood movie called After Earth. It collected a lot of money on the opening day but negative reviews spread like wild fire on social media and it was a disaster after next few days. There are also movies that rose to success with the help of social media. But I agree that a small part of a social media can't influence a movie's BO unless everyone agrees on it and apparently most don't because it has been doing good business from what I read so far.

    Clarification!!!He is talking about "anti vijay social media" and it is a "special circle with trolls"! He is not talking about "general public's opinion" in social media!
