No detailing is required for the popularity of ‘Ilayathalapathy’ Vijay in the neighboring state of Kerala. Here comes another proof to strongly establish the fact that he is nothing short of a superstar in Kerala Box Office.
The actor’s upcoming film ‘Puli’ directed by Chimbudevan has created tremendous anticipation among his fans as well as general movie buffs. The music launch function of this mega budget fantasy entertainer was held in Chennai on August 2 and it was telecast on a popular Tamil satellite channel last Sunday which kept every Tamil household hooked to their TV sets for the entire length of the programme.

'Puli' joins the elite five million club!
The trailer of Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Puli has crossed more than five million views on You Tube. Till now, regional film trailers like ‘I’,Lingaa and Baahubali have registered more than five million views and Puli is the recent one to join the elite club.
Directed by Chimbu Devan, Puli has ensemble of star cast including Sridevi, Sudeep, Shruti Haasan, Hansika,Prabhu, Nandita Swetha, Thambi Ramaiah, Imman Annachi, Vidyullekha and many.
Billed as a fantasy action thriller,Puliis scheduled to release on October 1 and it is being jointly produced by SKT Studios and Vijay’s manager, PT Selvakumar.

Vijay’s ‘Puli’ trailer is getting from viewers all over the globe is overwhelming it has touched the magical 50 lakhs views within eight days of its release on the 20th of August. At the time of this writing the exact count is 51, 22,541 views on YouTube.
