Illayathalapathy Vijay’s 58th film, Puli, is considered to very special one. Unlike any of his previous films,for the first time we would see Vijay star in a fantasy period drama.
Not just that, Puli marks the long awaited comeback of Sridevi in Tamil cinema. Add the brilliance of Kiccha Sudeep’s acting, charisma of Shruti Haasan and the oomph of Hansika to the film, and you get a perfect star studded cast of Puli. Directed of Chimbu Devan, who has a penchant for fantasy fiction, Puli is all set to release on September 17. Though the teaser of Puli created quite a ripple on social media, music of Puli by Devi Sri Prasad hasn’t managed to create the same impact. Packed with amazing visuals and backed by some impressive background score by DSP, Puli trailer promises to be a treat for Vijay fans. After having to wait for about 30 seconds, we get the first glimpse of messiah of poor and oppressed, Vijay-The Warrior, who fights in some style. Also Sridevi looks stunning as the evil queen and Sudeep packs a punch as Vijay’s nemesis. Shruti and Hansika look pretty but the trailer’s best part is the one liner delivered by Vijay, which also happens to be the only dialogue in the promo.
