    Any updates anybody ? Papanasam has garnered quite a bit of trailer views and most enjoyed it .. looks like a super hit looming in the horizon. Hope censor and other formalities take place for a June 2nd/3rd week release.

    Haven't found any info. on the release date ... they need to capitalize on the trailer's universal appeal and get it out soon. I believe the 'hindi' version is slated to be out July 31st. This has to hit theaters before that ... it was completed around last year end.

    Kamal's 'Papanasam' to release in July?

    According to the latest buzz in K-town, Kamal Haasan's Papanasam is likely to release in July

    Papanasam is the remake of Mohanlal's blockbuster Malayalam film Drishyam and the film's director Jeethu Joseph has directed the Tamil version as well.

    Papanasam has Gautami, Niveda Thomas, Delhi Ganesh, Asha Sharath, Charlie and many others to its star cast.

    Sources say that the audio launch of the film will happen by this month and once the censor process is done, the team will be officially announcing the release date.

    Papanasam is jointly produced by Wide Angle Creations and Raj Kumar Theaters.
