Hi,

I got a Preethi Mixie from Rathna stores (T.Nagar, Chennai).
I asked specifically for a mixie that can be used directly in the US and got a mixie that has 110V motor fixed in it. It works fine without any converter.

If you are yet to ask your friends to buy, ask them to enquire about Preethi mixie that is built for US volt capacity. You can get it readymade.
