நடிகர் திலகம் திரியில் நடிகர் திலகத்தின் படங்களைப் பற்றிய தவறான தகவல்கள் முன் வைக்கப்பட்டபோது அதை நாம் ஆதாரப்பூர்வமாக எதிர்கொண்டு உண்மைகளை பதிவு செய்தபோதெல்லாம் ஹப் பக்கமே வராதவர்கள், நாம் சுமுகமாக அனைத்து பிரச்னைகளையும் தீர்த்த பிறகு உள்ளே வந்து நம்மை குறை கூறுவது வேண்டுமென்றே செய்யும் செயலாகவே தோன்றுகிறது.
செவாலியர் விருதை பற்றிய மோசமான பதிவுகள்தான் வாக்குவாதத்திற்கே தொடக்கமிட்டது. அப்படி செய்த நண்பர் அந்த பதிவுகளை இது வரை நீக்கவும் இல்லை, அந்த பதிவுகளுக்கு குறைந்த பட்ச மரியாதையாக ஒரு வருத்தம் கூட தெரிவிக்கவில்லை. மாறாக நடிகர் திலகம் திரியில் வழி நடத்துபவர் யாருமில்லை என்று விஷமத்தனமான ஒரு கருத்தையும் பதிவு செய்திருக்கிறார். இங்கே இது போன்ற தூண்டி விடப்பட்ட அபவாதங்களினால் யாரேனும் ஒருவர் உணர்ச்சிவசப்பட்டு லட்சுமண ரேகையை தாண்டினாலும் கூட உடனே அதை சுட்டிக் காட்டி பிறர் மனம் புண்படும்படி எழுதுவதை தவிர்த்து விடுங்கள் என்று வேண்டுகோளும் விடுத்து எழுதியவற்றை நீக்கவும் செய்வது நாம். இது திரியை படிப்பவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் தெரியும். அங்கே என்ன நடக்கிறது?
அங்கே வழி நடத்துபவர் என்று சொல்லப்படுபவர் மோசமான பதிவுகளை கண்டிக்காமல் அருமை அற்புதம் என்று ஊக்கப்படுத்திக் கொண்டிருந்தார். அங்கே நடிகர் திலகம் பற்றி அவதூறு உரைத்தால் அதை பாராட்டுவதும் இங்கே நடக்காத ஒன்றை நடந்ததாக கூறி குறை கூறுவதும்தான் வயதில் முதிர்ந்த ஒருவருக்கு அழகா? அது மட்டுமல்ல வழக்கம் போல் பொய்யான பல தகவல்கள்.
பதிலுக்கு பதில் லாவணி பாட நமக்கு விருப்பமில்லை என்று சொல்லியாகி விட்டது. யாரும் வாக்கு வாதத்தில் ஈடுபட வேண்டாம் என்றும் சொல்லியாகி விட்டது. ஆனால் நமது படங்களின் தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் பற்றி பொய்யான தகவல்கள் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் முன் வைக்கப்படும்போது உண்மையை உரைக்க வேண்டிய கட்டாயம் நமக்கு. குறிப்பாக இரண்டு பேரை பற்றிய செய்திகளுக்கு பதில் சொல்ல வேண்டும். மற்றவர்கள் பற்றி பல முறை சொல்லியாகி விட்டது.
முதலில் APN. மற்றவர்களை வைத்து படம் பண்ணினேன். ஒருவரை வைத்து மட்டும் பணம் பண்ணினேன் என்றாராம். படம் வெளி வருவதற்கு முன்பு அப்படி சொல்ல வைக்கப்பட்டது. அன்றைய காலகட்டத்தில் நடந்தது என்ன என்பது இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் வெளி வந்தது.
1976-ம் ஆண்டு. ஏ பி நாகராஜன் ஒரு படம் தயாரித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார். பட்ஜெட் எகிறி விட்டது. படத்தை எடுத்து முடிக்க பணம் புரட்ட வேண்டிய சூழ்நிலை. தன்னுடைய படங்களை திருச்சி தஞ்சை மாவட்ட விநியோக உரிமை வாங்குபவரும் பைனான்சியருமான குருநாதன் செட்டியார் [மாயவரம் செட்டியார்] அவர்களிடம் சென்று பணம் கேட்கிறார். தருவதாக ஒப்புக் கொள்ளும் செட்டியார் ஈடாக என்ன தருவாய் என்று கேட்க என்ன வேண்டும் என்று APN கேட்க திருவிளையாடல் படத்தின் நெகடிவ் உரிமையையும் அந்த படத்தின் 35 mm விநியோக உரிமையையும் கேட்கிறார் செட்டியார். வெறும் 5 அல்லது 10 வருடங்கள் போதாது என்றும் APN கேட்கும் தொகை வேண்டுமென்றால் Perpetual Rights (இது Life Rights என்றும் அழைக்கப்படும்) கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று செட்டியார் கேட்க Perpetual Rights எனும் 99 வருட உரிமை கொடுக்க முடியாது என்று கூறிய APN நீண்ட பேச்சு வார்த்தைக்கு பின் 45 வருட உரிமை தருவதாக ஒப்புக் கொண்டு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் கையெழுத்து இட்டு பணம் வாங்கி வந்து படத்தை தொடர்கிறார். படம் 1977 மார்ச்சில் வெளியாகிறது. பணம் பண்ணினேன் என்று சொன்ன APN பாவம் அடகு வைத்த தன் சொந்தப் படத்தை கூட மீட்க முடியாமல் 1977 ஏப்ரல் 5-ந் தேதி இறந்து போகிறார்.
வருடங்கள் உருண்டோடுகின்றன. 35 வருடங்களுக்கு பிறகு 2012-ல் APN அவர்களின் மகன் திரு பரமசிவம் திருவிளையாடல் படத்தை டிஜிட்டல் வடிவமைத்து திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியிட வரும்போது செட்டியார், பரமசிவம் அவர்களிடம் அவர் தந்தையார் பட்ட கடனை அடைத்து விட்டு படத்தை வெளியிட சொல்கிறார். திருப்பி செலுத்த வேண்டிய கடன் தொகையாக செட்டியார் கேட்டது சில கோடிகள். திகைத்து போன பரமசிவம் பேச்சு வார்த்தை மூலம் பிரச்னையை பேசி தீர்க்க முயற்சி செய்ய அது முடியாமல் போகவே விஷயம் நீதி மன்றத்திற்கு எடுத்து செல்லப்படுகிறது. நீதி மன்றம் படத்தை வெளியிட தடை விதிக்க மறுத்து விடுகிறது. சென்னையிலும் கோவையிலும் ஒரு சில தியேட்டர்கள் வெளியிட முன் வந்தாலும் அனைத்து மாவட்ட விநியோகஸ்தர் சங்கங்களிலும் தனக்குள்ள செல்வாக்கை வைத்து படத்தை திரையிடாமல் செய்தது மட்டுமல்லாமல் ரெட் கார்டு போடவும் ஏற்பாடு செய்கிறார் செட்டியார். ஒரு கட்டத்திற்கு மேல் போராட முடியாமல் மீண்டும் லண்டனுக்கே சென்று விடுகிறார் NRI பரமசிவம்.
திருவிளையாடல் ஓடவில்லை என்று மாற்று தரப்பினர் பொய் பிரச்சாரம் செய்தபோது இந்த விவரங்களையெல்லாம் ஏற்கனவே நான் இங்கே பதிவு செய்தேன். மேற் சொன்ன விஷயங்கள் அனைத்தும் நீதிமன்றத்தில் இரு தரப்பினரும் தங்கள் வாதங்களை முன் வைத்தபோது வெளிவந்த உண்மைகள். இப்போதும் status quo continues. அதே நிலைமைதான் இப்போதும். 2021 வரை இதே நிலைதான் என்று செட்டியார் தரப்பு கூறுகிறது. பணம் பண்ணியதாக சொல்ல வைக்கப்பட்ட APN அவர்களின் படம் இன்று வரை அடகு நிலையிலே தொடர்கிறது எனபதுதான் உண்மை நிலை.
APN பற்றி சொன்னது பொய் என்றால் ஜெயந்தி பிலிம்ஸ் கனகசபை பற்றி சொன்னது கடைந்தெடுத்த பொய். கனகசபை பட்ட பாடு என்னவென்று எல்லோருக்கும் தெரியும் என்று ஒரு statement. என்ன நடந்தது என்பதை இங்கேயும் சற்று விளக்கமாகவே பார்ப்போம்.
தங்களின் விளக்கம் அருமை. இதுபோல் பலமுறை தாங்களும் மற்ற நண்பர்களும் அவரவருக்கே உரித்தான பாணியில் உண்மைகளை உரக்கச் சொல்லியாகிவிட்டது.
நடிகர்திலகத்தைப் பற்றி பொதுவாக வாய் புளித்ததோ, மாங்காய் புளித்ததோ என்று அவதூறுகள் சொல்வது, எழுதுவது அந்தக் காலத்திலிருந்து, தற்போது வரை தொடர்ந்துகொண்டுதான் இருக்கிறது.
பொது தளங்களில், பொது மேடைகளில், பத்திரிகைகளில், தொலைக்காட்சிகளில் இத்தகைய தவறான விமர்சனங்கள் வந்தால் அதற்கு பதிலடி கொடுத்துத்தான் ஆகவேண்டும். முகநூலில் வந்தால்கூட பதிலடி கொடுக்கலாம். ஏனென்றால் அதெல்லாம் பொதுவாக அனைவரும் படிப்பது, பார்ப்பது. ஆனால், இந்தத் திரியோ, ஒவ்வொரு நடிகருக்கும் என்று தனித்தனியே வைத்து, பெரும்பாலும் அந்தந்த ரசிகர்கள் மட்டுமே சென்று படிப்பது மற்றும் பதிவிடுவது நடக்கிறது.

அப்படி அவர்கள் அவதூறு சொல்வதைத் தடுக்கவேண்டும், மறுக்கவேண்டும் என்று அவசியமாகப் பட்டால் அதனை moderators க்கு புகார் தெரிவித்து நீக்கச் சொல்லலாம்.

A thread is a chartered or specific forum to interact on all nooks and corners of a subject or person of interest or admiration with a touch of technical advancement and sophistication in our approaches. When information technology was just on its anvil of development and the literacy level too was low our thoughts and actions were so convoluted and even the grown up fans of respective icons used to clash like school children! In the present era too if it is going to be just 'an old wine in a new bottle' with the mentality unchanged, then we are not doing justice to our legendary icons when they are not at all with us. Using filthy languages for verbal clashes, furnishing exaggerated data and information, confusing the readers with wrong postings to boost the image of icons (what is the use after they have left us once for all!?)....really pathetic.It shall be kept in mind that these threads may be participated by a very few hubbers but is viewed by thousands of visitors and we need to quench their thirst of authentic information on our icons, with a carefully chosen language style, usage and grammatical presentations to avoid becoming a laughing stock in others eyes.Of course it is merely a communication in a similar fashion to the 'accepted' sms type of language usage. Let us not become instrumental to hurt others' feelings but at the same time we also need not allow other thread friends to attack us unwarranted! Let us be optimistically defensive gentlemen rather than pessimistically offensive junglemen. Long live NT's name and fame that grow up consistently till this world exists! Let us make our interactions enjoyable rather than complicating the issues further. CHENNAI: Chennai's residents are gearing up for a month-long celebration of Chennai's 375th birthday. Over a hundred events have been planned by enthusiastic communities, schools, and institutions across the city. The only people staying clear of the festivities though seem to be the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation. And officials say it is not an oversight.
"We are not in the habit of celebrating Madras Week," says an official of the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation. Another senior official admits that it is because the department does not want to promote "colonial heritage", which is what the Madras Day celebrations are. "We focus more on Dravidian heritage such as from the Sangam Age and Chola Age," he says.
TOI had recently pointed out that TN topped in attracting domestic tourists and ranked second in drawing foreign tourists in 2013 but the state had not gone beyond marketing temple tourism. Tamil Nadu's marketing initiatives are limited to advertisements about Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) hotels and tours on Google and messages on mobile phones and Facebook and that TTDC's profits have declined.
The month-long Madras Week celebrations - to mark the city's 375th birthday, which falls on August 22 - were "officially" launched on August 13, by historians, writers, critics and people who simply love the city. Although called the Madras Week, the event, which started off as a half-a-day Madras Day celebration 11 years ago, has grown into a 'Madras month' with festivities and events planned through August and a bit of September.
The celebrations - which includes heritage tours, food trails, lectures, quizzes and even a mobile app called Past Forward that spots a heritage building near you - are conceptualised and conducted by residents of the city, say organisers.
"This is a completely voluntary event. It was started by a group of friends who came together to celebrate Chennai, which was founded on August 22, 1639," says the city's chronicler S Muthiah, who has been associated with Madras Day celebrations for the last 11 years. Now, if only the government were to use the opportunity to showcase the city.
