It is a known fact that Thala Ajith had changed his diet while he was still shooting for Gautham Menon's Yennai Arindhaal. Ajith who is a brilliant cook, has completely given up on non-vegetarian food according to a Tamil daily. All he eats for breakfast, lunch and supper are just some green food along with fruits. He has also apparently lost 3 kilograms in no time and is focused on burning substantial amount of calories in the next few days.

After Yennai Arindhaal, which is almost completed, Ajith will be joining hands yet again with director Siva of Veeram fame. Since Ajith was showcased as a stout looking toughie in Veeram, it could be possible that he's been asked to shed some weight to look rather slim in his upcoming movie. It is to be noted that Ajith had earlier shed amazing amount of weight for P Vasu's Paramasivan and Perarasu's Thirupathi but neither of the two went on to become a massive hit. Though he might not look extremely thin in his next, with the way he is managing his diet at the moment, he might definitely look a lot thinner and fit for his 56th movie which is referred as Thala 56. Also the budget of Thala 56 is said to be around 80 crore rupees making it one of the costliest movie ever produced for an Ajith flick. The film is likely to go on floors from January 2014 and is said to be an urban action entertainer in contrast to his previous film with Siva which had a village as its backdrop.

Big no to him. I seen his latest movie and after 15 mins I went to bed and my wife finished the movie in 20 mins by forwarding. I am not sure how he is tagged as big director.
