முன்பெல்லாம் ஒரு படம் வெளியாகி குறைந்தது ஒரு மாதம் ஹவுஸ் புல்லாக ஓடினால்... சக்சஸ் மீட் வைப்பார்கள். ஆனால் பத்திரிகையாளர்களுக்கல்ல.. படத்தின் நடிகர் - நடிகைகள், தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞர்கள் மற்றும் சினிமா புள்ளிகளுக்காக. ஏதாவது நட்சத்திர ஹோட்டலில் ரகசியமாக நடக்கும் இந்த பார்ட்டி.

100 நாட்கள் ஓடி முடிந்த பிறகுதான் அந்தப் படத்தின் வெற்றியை ஒரு விழாவாக எடுத்து அறிவிப்பார்கள். அதில் செய்தியாளர்களும் பங்கேற்பது வழக்கமாக இருந்தது. எம்ஜிஆர், சிவாஜி, ரஜினி, கமல் காலம் வரை வெற்றி அறிவிப்பு விழா இப்படித்தான் நடந்திருக்கிறது.

ஆனால் இன்றைய நிலை... அந்தோ பரிதாபம். முன்னணியில் உள்ள நடிகர்கள் என்று சொல்லப்படும் சிலரது படங்கள் வெளியான மூன்றாவது நாளே வெற்றிச் சந்திப்பு என்று கூறி செய்தியாளர் சந்திப்பு நடக்கிறது. படம் பிரமாண்ட வெற்றி... அதிரடி ஓபனிங்... படத்தின் செலவை எடுத்துவிட்டோம் என தண்டோரா போடுகிறார்கள்.

இன்னும் சிலரோ வெள்ளிக் கிழமை வெளியான படத்துக்கு சனிக்கிழமையே.. அதாவது ஒன்றரை நாளில் சக்சஸ் மீட் வைப்பதும் நடக்கிறது. 'படம் வெளியான சந்தோஷத்தைக் கொண்டாட எப்படியும் அடுத்த நாள் பார்ட்டி வைக்கப் போகிறோம்.. அதையே பிரஸ் மீட்டாக வைத்தால் படத்துக்கும் பப்ளிசிட்டி கிடைச்ச மாதிரி இருக்கும்ல' - இப்படி நினைத்து வைக்கப்படுவதுதான் பெரும்பாலான படங்களின் சக்சஸ் மீட்.

சமீபத்திய ஆண்டுகளில் சக்சஸ் மீட் வைக்கப்பட்ட பெரும்பாலான படங்கள் பெரும் தோல்வியைச் சந்தித்தவை என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

You need to understand that back in those days it was easier to run a movie for 100 days. Now a days it's a huge achievement if you could even come close to that with so many movies releasing each month. It's hard to to keep a movie running for a long period of time. So a success meet early on would help improve the collection and the duration which the the movie is shown on screen. Regarding MK, from what I have read it has done excellent business on the opening day and has been doing good business throughout. Only thing going against the movie is the mixed reviews which is leaning more toward negative than positive. So the success meet at this stage would help create a positive impact on the movie's collection on the long run. It's actually a smart move by them. Movie industry is also a business.

In VTV it was mentioned that a movie's success would be known by the following Monday. We living in the age of mass production and quick returns.
How many cinema halls were there then during 100 days celebrations as compared to now?
Times have changed but some people resist change.

oh..come on....nobody is going to wait until 100 days to celebrate its success... what about after 2-3 weeks??

as you say 'success meet' is not about its genuine "SUCCESS of the film". it's business strategy to increase its profit. that's why they wrote that flop films also had success party.....
these days people will do anything to make money

If producers are trying to create an artificial hype by having success meet it is their strategy......atleast it is their product....The same can be said about these sites which run these news just to garner attention...it is very simple to judge an article just seeing the tone of it..... If Maan Karate is the topc of concern here, the film did not receive any major positive review.....but the business it is doing is completely different ..... all you need to do o confirm that is check the booking status this weekend...The movie continues to hold Main screens (eg.Sathyam) even as NSM is getting released this week

பாக்ஸிங் ரிங்கில் 'பட்டர்’ பீட்டர் 'கில்லர்’ பீட்டரை 'நாக்-அவுட்’ செய்வாரா என்பதே... 'மான் கராத்தே’!
சாஃப்ட்வேர் நண்பர்கள் சதீஷ் அண்ட் கோ-வுக்கு, ஒரு சித்தர் மூலம் நான்கு மாதத்துக்குப் பிந்தைய செய்தித்தாள் கையில் கிடைக்கிறது. அவர்கள் பணிபுரியும் சாஃப்ட்வேர் நிறுவன திவால் முதல் ஆலங்கட்டி மழை வரை செய்தித்தாளில் பதிவாகி இருக்கும் சம்பவங்கள் அப்படி அப்படியே நடக்கின்றன. அதே செய்தித்தாள் மூலம் குத்துச்சண்டைப் போட்டியில் பீட்டர் என்பவர் இரண்டு கோடி ரூபாய் ஜெயிக்கிறார் என்று தெரிந்துகொன்டு அந்தப் பீட்டரைத் தேடினால்... அது சிவகார்த்திகேயன். பாக்ஸிங் என்றால் என்னவென்றே தெரியாத சிவகார்த்திகேயன் போட்டியில் கலந்துகொண்ட சமயம், இன்னொரு பீட்டரும் என்ட்ரி கொடுக்கிறார். அவர் ஒரே அடியில் எதிராளிகளை 'நாக்-அவுட்’ செய்யும் 'கில்லர்’. இப்போ 'பட்டர்’ பீட்டர் ஜெயிப்பாரா என்பதே கதை!
'பின்னால் நடப்பது முன்கூட்டியே தெரிந்தால்..?’ டைப் ஃபேன்டசி கதையோடு இறங்கி இருக்கிறார் அறிமுக இயக்குநர் திருக்குமரன். கலகல காமெடி, கலர்ஃபுல் ஒளிப்பதிவு, இன்டர்வெல் ட்விஸ்ட்... என செம ஜோர் ஆரம்பம்தான். ஆனால், ரோலர் கோஸ்டர் சவாரி அடித்திருக்கவேண்டிய பின்பாதி, நொண்டியடித்ததால்... 'ஸ்மால் பஸ்’ ட்ரிப் ஆகிவிட்டது!
பில்டப் இன்ட்ரோக்களுக்குப் பிறகு வழக்கமான 'சினா கானா’வாகச் சிரிப்பு சிக்ஸர் விரட்டுகிறார் சிவகார்த்திகேயன். குறள் சொல்லும் போட்டி, டம்மி பிராக்டீஸ் அத்தியாயங்களில் காமெடி நடிப்பு, பன்ச் பாடி லாங்வேஜ்... என பழகிய பிட்ச்சில் செம ஸ்கோர். என்னா டான்ஸ்மா... பின்றீங்க பிரதர். ஆனால், திரைக்கதை திணறும் பின்பாதியில் கடுப்ஸ் ஏற்றுகிறது பீட்டர் கேரக்டரின் அழுகாச்சி பெர்ஃபாமன்ஸ்.
கொழுக் மொழுக் ஹன்சிகா, செம ஸ்லிம் பேபி ஆகிவிட்டார். அது ஓ.கே. ஆனால், க்ளைமாக்ஸில் நடிக்கத் திணறும் அழகியை, 'நடி... நடி’ என்று நடிக்க வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். நமக்குத்தான்... என்னா அடி?!
அதிரடி ஆக்ரோஷமான 'கில்லர்’ பாக்ஸராக வம்சி கிருஷ்ணா செம ஃபிட். அதிரடி பாக்ஸருக்கு கருணையான மனைவி என அந்தக் குட்டி போர்ஷன் க்யூட். 'சூப்பர் காமெடி பாஸ். அப்படி ஓரமாப் போய்ச் சிரிச்சிட்டு வந்துடவா?’ என சிவகார்த்திகேயனைக் கலாய்க்கும் போதெல்லாம் ஜாலி ரைடு அடிக்கிறார் சதீஷ்.
'டார்லிங் டம்பக்கு...’, 'மாஞ்சா போட்டுதான்...’ பாடல்களில் ரகளை செய்கிறது அனிருத் இசை. மொத்த கேன்வாஸையும் அழகாகக் காட்டும் சுகுமாரின் ஒளிப்பதிவு, பாடல் காட்சிகளில் எக்ஸ்ட்ரா ரம்மியம்!
பின்பாதியிலும் சிவாவைச் சிரிப்பு ஷோ நடத்தவைப்பதா அல்லது சீரியஸ் க்ளவுஸ் மாட்டுவதா என்பதில் ரொம்பவே குழம்பிவிட்டார்கள் போல! 10 குறள் சொல்லிவிட்டால் ஹன்சிகா பார்சலா? ரெண்டு காமாசோமா பாக்ஸர்களிடம் தப்பித்தால் ஃபைனலுக்குத் தகுதிபெற்றுவிட முடியுமா? சதீஷ் குரூப் வம்படியாகச் சென்று வம்சி மாமனாரிடம் அப்டேட் சொல்லிக்கொண்டே இருக்க வேண்டுமா? 18 வருட புரொஃபஷனலிஸத்தை 10 நிமிடக் கோபம் காலி செய்துவிடுமா?
படத்தில் செய்தித்தாள் கிடைப்பது மட்டும்தானே ஃபேன்டசி. பின்தொடரும் அத்தனை சம்பவங்களுமா நம்ப முடியாத 'ஃபேன்டசி’யாக அரங்கேறும்? அடப் போங்க பாஸு!
