I think it will be an interesting movie....Not sure if it will be a blockbuster...especially outside of Chennai and other metros. People have been mostly fed an unending diet of stereotypical movies (good vs bad, with the good played by the the lead), so not sure if anything innovative by a leading hero would be a blockbuster in the near term...

A very likeable offbeat album in my honest opinion. No song except "Loveaa" plays to the gallery and even that is quite enjoyable. Kamal has put in commendable amount of effort in each of his songs. As a singer I am able to appreciate the ease with which he brings in certain nuances which are quite difficult to execute. Easily the best singer amongst actors. The real icing on the cake were the OSTs though. Great stuff. Especially "A letter from and to yamini" and Father and daughter.

Only kamal fans expect his movies to be classical and also blockbuster..10A film is BB but many people blamed KH by saying he is inclining towards commerical..Anbe sivam,heyram movie is pure classic but many people are sad that it didnt do well in BO forgetting those kind of movies will not do well anywhere..ex..the shawshank redemption is flop at time of release but it had max viewing in DVD,etc..same with Anbe sivam for us..
either classical or BB edhaavathu onnu thaan kidaikum..Virumandi is not superhit or BB but its a hit..I will be very very happy if UV is hit with little profit to producers/distributors/theater owners..anyway he has papanasam to back-up..
