இரண்டு வருட இடைவெளி வடிவேலுவுக்கு பல விஷயங்களைப் புரிய வைத்திருக்கும் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்.

மக்கள் திலகம் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். படப்பாடல்களை எம்.ஜி.ஆரே நன்றாகப்பாடி, நடித்து, மக்கள் மனதில் நன்கு பதியவைத்துவிட்டு போய்விட்டார். எனவே அதை தூசிதட்டி புதுப்பித்து படங்களில் பாடும் வேலையெல்லாம் வடிவேலுவுக்கு வேண்டாம்.

ஒரு நகைச்சுவை நடிகன் எல்லோருக்கும் பிடிக்கிற மாதிரி பொதுப்படையான நகைச்சுவைகள் செய்ய வேண்டும். ஒருபக்க சார்பு வேண்டாம். மீண்டும் இடைவெளி வேண்டாமென்றால் வடிவேலு இதை செய்யட்டும்....

same thing happened to vivek too in singham2 . in singham 1 vivek was 100% with Surya, in singham2 his role was reduced and if u would have observed whenever santhanam is on the screen with surya vivek will be missing (that is 80% of times) ha ha .. it happens to everyone and everyone did mokkai in their hay times.

His only achievement is bringing down the standard of comedy to the lowest possible level and as a result we have to tolerate the torture of all other mokkai fellows who followed him.

appadi kidayathunga Joe, opinion differs ... as of now I like Santhanam. (except in few movies) and started to dislike Vadivelu style of comedies in his last few films before he went on hibernation..though I don't want to equate him with Vadivelu...... (cannot be possible at all...... both their brand of comedies are different)...... so neenga plain reject panninathunala than antha post....

lowest possible level -> ithu ovvoru phase layum apothaikku top la ullavangala pathi sonnathu ......... appadi paartha vadivelu allowed himself (or the character he played) to be insulted in the worst (worst in my opinion..it neednt be actually ) possible way (in Pokkiri, Villu, marudhamalai etc.,...... ).. yaarume thalai sirantha nagaichuvai nadigan nu santhanam ah sollalae...I don't think even he claims to be one...everyone had their hey days..and santhanam is (or should it be was??) having one and he is making hay while the sun shines..whatz wrong........ the best of comedians have to be nagesh (again this is imho) at an overall level and other stalwarts at their area of strengths...

ஒரு நடிகர் நடித்து பிரபலமான காட்சியில் உள்ள டயலாக்கை வைத்தே அவரை கலாய்ப்பது தமிழ் சினிமாவில் வழமைதான். வடிவேலுவே இப்படி பலரை கலாய்த்திருக்கிறார். ஆனால், வடிவேலுவின் அடுத்த படத்தையே கோடம்பாக்கத்தில் சிலர் “வரும்… ஆனா வராது…” என்று கலாய்த்ததில், ரொம்பத்தான் நொந்து போயிருந்தார் அவர். பணம்போட்ட தயாரிப்பாளர் மிக நொந்து போயிருந்தார்.
படம் டைட்டிலில் நிறைய ‘ஜ’னாக்களுடன் வரும், ஜகஜ்ஜால புஜபல தெனாலிராமன்!
அரசியல் மேடைகளில் பஞ்ச் டயலாக் பேசியதில் பஞ்ச்சராய் போனபின் ஏற்பட்ட பெர்ர்ரிய இடைவெளியின் பின் வரும் ஜ.பு.தெ.ராமன் படம் ஆஹா.. ஓஹோ.. என்று இருக்க வேண்டும் என்ற ஆசை வடிவேலுவுக்கு இருந்ததில் தப்பில்லை. ஆனால் அவரது அதீத ஆர்வம், ‘ஆர்வக் கோளாறு’ என்ற விதத்தில் போய்விடவே, படம் கிட்டத்தட்ட ட்ராப் என்ற அளவுக்கு போய், “வரும்… ஆனா வராது…” டயலாக் வந்தது.
இப்போது படம் மீண்டும் சூடு பிடித்திருக்கிறது. வடிவேலுவின் ‘ஜ’ படம், “வரும்.. நிச்சயமா வரும்” என்கிறார்கள், இப்போது.
டைரக்டர் ஒரு திசையில் போக, ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் மறுதிசையில் ஓட, கிடப்பில் போடப்பட இருந்த படம், திடீரென உயிர்பெற காரணம் என்ன? இரண்டு கதைகள் சொல்லப்படுகின்றன.
சமீபகாலமாக கோடம்பாக்கத்தில் காமெடி நடிகர் சந்தானத்துக்கு எதிராக ஒரு பவர்ஃபுல் குரூப், பயங்கரமாக லாபி செய்கிறது. சந்தானத்துக்கு ‘செக்’ வைக்க வேண்டுமானால், மார்க்கெட்டில் ஜொலிக்கக்கூடிய மற்றொரு காமெடியன் தேவை. மீடியம் சைஸ் கேரக்டர்களில் நடித்துக்கொண்டிருந்த பரோட்டா சூரிக்கு மெயின் காமெடி கேரக்டர் கிடைத்தது அப்படித்தான்.
அது ஒரு பக்கமாக நடக்க, மற்ற பக்கமாக, மீண்டும் வைகைப் புயலை வர வைத்து, சந்தானத்துக்கு செக் வைப்பது, Plan-B.
இந்த பவர்ஃபுல் குரூப்தான் தட்டிக் கொடுத்து, பெட்டிக்குள் போகவிருந்த படத்தை மீண்டும் உயிர்பெற வைத்தது என்பது ஒரு கதை.
மற்றொரு கதை, சூது கவ்வும் படத்தில் இடம்பெற்ற “காசு.. பணம்.. துட்டு” பாடல் மெகா ஹிட் ஆனது. அது, அரச கேரக்டர்களை வைத்து காமெடியாக எடுக்கப்பட்ட பாடல். ஜகஜ்ஜால புஜபல தெனாலிராமனில் முழுப் படமுமே அரச கேரக்டர்கள் காமெடி பண்ணுவதுதானே..
அதனால், இந்தப் படம் லேட் பண்ணாமல் உடனடியாக வந்தால் பிய்த்துக் கொண்டு போகும் என்று விநியோகஸ்தர்கள் சொல்கிறார்களாம்.
எப்படியோ, இந்த முறை வைகைப்புயல் வரப்போவது கிட்டத்தட்ட உறுதி. ஒருவேளை இந்தப் படம் ஓடிவிட்டால், சந்தானத்தின் திசையில் உள்ள வெள்ளி, இடம் மாறுமாம். மீண்டும் வடிவேலுவுக்கு வெள்ளி திசை தொடங்குமாம். அதற்காக ‘தீயா வேலை செய்யுது’ ஒரு குரூப்.
ஜகஜ்ஜால புஜபல தெனாலிராமனில் இருந்து சில போட்டோக்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து தருகிறோம்… பார்த்துவிட்டு சொல்லுங்கள்… பவர்ஃபுல் குரூப்பின் Plan-B வேலை செய்யுமா? இல்லையா?

Santhanam .. yes i agree ore madhiri thaan in each movie .. Vadivelu also did all kind of junk and then proved his talent (initial movies loud shouting/kovai sarala beatings were unbearable) but the ones like Chandramuki were mindblowing

Santhanam till today same mokkai from day 1. I completely agree
