Hi all, need your help for choosing a name for our GOD-blessed baby girl.....there are many fashioned, nice sounding, (having) good meaning words to choose from for a girl name, but most of them are derived from sanskrit or mixture of other languages, wanted to go for a pure tamil name that is simple, fashioned, unique, (with) a positive meaning, couldnt get much from the internet. Though there are sites that offer 5000+ names most of the names are old fashioned or derived from a repeated set of words (poo, tamizh, etc.,) names that impress us are either taken by acquaintances (ilakkia, venba, kavinaya etc.,) or used in a song / comic situation by Vairamuthu or Vivek (like angavai is a very good name, but made mockery of in Sivaji film, likewise usitha (in anniyan), poompavaai) . As of now have zeroed in on one name, niralya which is supposed to mean Orderly, but in the vast ocean of tamil literature, i expect there to be so many choices for me to choose from, need your help in finding one..... I feel, Even if not in a single tamil word, atleast suffixing with -tha -ya etc (if it makes sense) we can derive some words. do we have a set of sanga / ancient tamil words that would mean Healthy, happy, (make) cheerful, God blessed, Blessings for a long life etc., which could help me in formulating a good name
