Bagapirivinai est un film rural qui parle de fraternité et de différence. Fraternité car il aborde la double histoire de deux duos de frères sur deux générations. Tout d’abord, il y a deux frères inséparables qui partagent tout, même les enfants, car le jeune frère décide de faire adopter son jeune fils par son grand frère qui ne peut en avoir. Ensuite, il y a les deux garçons de ce jeune frère, dont l’un, adopté par son grand frère, part étudier en ville et l’autre reste au village à cause de son handicap. Ce film aborde aussi la question de la différence car le premier fils du jeune frère perd l’usage d’un bras et cela le prive de beaucoup de choses, en plus de ne pas pouvoir aller étudier en ville comme son jeune frère, et il développe un profond complexe d’infériorité. Bien sûr, l’amour ne tarde pas à le trouver et lui apporter du réconfort.

Bagapirivinai is a rural film about brotherhood and difference. Brotherhood as it addresses the double story of two pairs of brothers on two generations. First, there are two inseparable brothers who share everything, even the children, because the younger brother decides to take his young son by his older brother who can not have. Then there are the boys of the younger brother, one of which was adopted by his older brother to study in another city and stay in the village because of his disability. The film also addresses the issue of the difference as the first son of the younger brother lost the use of one arm and it deprives him of many things, in addition to not being able to study in the city as his younger brother, and develops a deep inferiority complex. Of course, love does not take long to find and bring him comfort.
