Kamal did seem to get more support from all the media (all over India) and from film artists who had come en mass to his home. But its not a fair comparison .. It was a different issue. Kamal is a senior artist with no interest in politics. Here as you mention, the issue is 'ota vaayi' SAC who clearly messed it up. Political maneuvering is complicated .. better to stay away from it all. Despite all the troubles Kamal faced, VR was still a blockbuster. So, if the movie is well received by the TN makkal, there's nothing to stop Thalaiva. Just needs a fair chance ...

It must be correct.....I went to watch thalivaa yesterday but ended up watching chennai express..... I saw only one guy watching the movie in theatre.
