In one of the கணையாழி கடைசி பக்கம் he talks about the lack of good porn writing in Tamil. (கம்பனில் பெண்கள் எல்லாம் disproportionate.) And then he goes on to say Arunagirinathar is perhaps one who stands out and starts to quote...stops at a strategic place and says..."இதற்கு மேல் திருப்புகழில் தேடிக் கொள்ளவும்"

Was recently reading his preface to a short story collection which I found very impressive.

நான் சந்தித்த பல எழுத்தாளர்கள் யோக்கியமாக மற்றவர் கதைகளை படிக்கிற ஜாதி அல்ல என்று தெரிந்து கொண்டேன். அவர்கள் பொழுதுபோக்குக்கு தத்தம் சொந்தக் கதைகளை படித்துக்கொண்டிருப்பாட்கள் என்று தோன்றியது. ….ஒரு நல்ல எழுத்தாளனாவதற்கு சில சொந்த தியாகங்களும் பலிகளும் தவிர்க்க முடியாதவை. அவைகளில் ஒன்று சில துல்யமான வாசகத் தன்மைகளை இழப்பது.

First Sujatha novel I read. Pidikkalaiya enna

First-u padichirundha pudichirukum-nu nenaikiren. Though this attempt was from the perspective of a kid, slowly Vimmu's constant 'adangal' started to drag the pace of the novel. And I felt that the events were quickly merged without much narration. Am I reading the correction version? Vaanadhi padhipagam I guess , I will confirm you tonight.

First-u padichirundha pudichirukum-nu nenaikiren. Though this attempt was from the perspective of a kid, slowly Vimmu's constant 'adangal' started to drag the pace of the novel. And I felt that the events were quickly merged without much narration. Am I reading the correction version? Vaanadhi padhipagam I guess , I will confirm you tonight.

I'm not sure about the publishers. Anyway, there won't be any differences becasue of that. Rarely I have been disappointed after Sujatha's novels, so I might have overlooked the flaws in this one.

தீண்டும் இன்பம். திருமணம் ஆனப் பிறகு தமிழ் நாவல்கள், கதைகள் என எதுவுமே பரிச்சயமில்லாத மனைவியிடம் எந்த நாவலைப் படிக்கச் சொல்லலாம் என யோசித்தபோது, விகடனில் தொடராக வந்த தீண்டும் இன்பம் நாவல் ஞாபகத்திற்கு வந்தது. நாவலை ஒரே முச்சில் வாசித்து விட்டு, மனைவி சொன்னது, "நடை ரொம்ப நல்லா இருந்தது, யார் எழுதினது?" இந்த நாவலை சினிமாவாக யாராவது எடுக்க நினைத்தால், என்னுடைய தேர்வு ரீமா சென்.

பரவாயில்லிங்க. ஒருத்தர் சொதப்பிவிட்டார் என்பதால் அப்படியே முற்றுப்புள்ளி வைத்து விடாமல், தொடர்ந்து படைப்பாளிகள் முயன்ற வண்ணம் இருக்கட்டுமே. சுஜாதாவின் நண்பர்கள் என நாம் நம்பி வரும் மணிரத்னம், ஷங்கர், கமல், ராஜிவ் மேனன் போன்றவர்கள் தங்களுக்கு பிடித்த நாவல்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து இயக்கலாம்.
