No doubt Vasantha Maligai enjoyed good collections and rerun days every time it got released. One of the milestone movies for our NT. However, during the rerelease this time, some portions particularly the raw comedy scenes by VKR_Ramaprabha_Nagesh combo requires proper editing as it may not suit the current trends of younger generation in enjoying the flawless flow of the main movie.Vasantha Maligai always remains the blockbuster of NT movies.

I AM 64 NOW. my teenage memories are always mixed with this movie. I want to share some of my personal happenings happened during yhis movie. Devathai pola oru pennai meet pannum vaippu kidaithathu. she also preferred VM very much to see. that time i was in madurai. Had i been in madras i would have taken her for the movie. madurai we could not go atleast nearer to the theare so much of crowds. first week. after coming to madras I was not able to fulfill her wish for personal reasons. after that we have had no occassion to meet each other. andavan enna ninaithano adhu appadi nadanthathu.

Even though short-lived, it was still a romance! Definitely this movie is one of a kind

wish the movie to do very well.. My most fav Tamil movie...the dialogues and the acting.. :awesome:

NT : parakkurathu ethaiyum thadukka kuudaathu..
VS :athikama parakka vidavum kuudathu

Lines which aptly gives both of their charactrisation...

NT : athaithaan avunga paasamnu solraanga.. nee mosamnu solriya?

VS: thannaiye ariyaathavalukku suya kavuravam ethukku? athu eppadi rukka mudiyum?? ellame ippathaane puriyuthu?

and the dialogues with the doctor..

"perunkudiyila piranthavan aache.. kudikkama irukka mudiyuma?"and the whole conversation which follows this....

NT :"inime palli kuudathule irukkiRavanga illathavangannu kidayaatha?"
SD: " irukke.. arivu irukkiRavanga.. arivu illathavanga"

waht a movie.. will miss it watching in big theatres now

In my view, I hope they remove the comedy part between Nagesgh and VKR. They are speedblocks for the whole movie and the only irritating part in the movie....Also if in case they have the original Climax, they can use that which will bring in soem change and trigger more interests and an apt climax..

Vasantha Maligai Vasudevan Sir,

Watched at Shanthi during my childhood days and got the post card of our NT at that time. It was
running to packing house. Again watched during re release at Srinivasa (West Mambalam),Chrompet Vetri
theatres.It was a memorable experince.
