ரஹ்மானின் கன்டக்டர்..

'கற்றாரை கற்றாரே காமுறுவர்' என்றொரு ஸ்லோகன் உண்டு கடுந்தமிழில். இதற்கு கொடுந்தமிழில் விளக்கம் சொன்னால் 'மைண்டு காரன் மைண்டு காரனோடதான் பிரண்ட்ஷிப்பு வச்சுப்பான்!' உலகத்தின் பார்வையை தன் பக்கம் திருப்பியிருக்கும் இசைப்புயல் ஏ.ஆர்.ரஹ்மானுக்கும் அப்படியரு பிரண்ட்ஷிப் இருக்கிறது. அவர்தான் மாட் டங்க்ளி!

சமீபத்தில் சன் டியில் அடிக்கடி பார்த்திருக்கலாம். ரஹ்மான் எந்திரன் படத்திற்காக பின்னணி இசையமைத்த காட்சியை. அப்போது ரஹ்மானுடன் ஒரு வழுக்கை தலை ஆசாமி பேசிக் கொண்டிருப்பார். அவர்தான் இந்த மாட் டங்க்ளி. இசைக்கலைஞர்கள் கருவிகள் வாசித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் போது அவர்களை கன்டக்ட் செய்வதும் இவர்தான். ஹாலிவுட் இசையமைப்பாளர்களில் மிகவும் முக்கியமானவராம் இவர். அடிப்படையில் பிரிட்டிஷ் காரரான இவர் ஏராளமான ஹாலிவுட் படங்களுக்கு மியூசிக் கன்டக்டராக இருந்திருக்கிறார். ஹாலிவுட்டின் புகழ்பெற்ற இசையமைப்பாளர்களான ஹான்ஸ் சிம்மர், கிரேக் ஆம்ஸ்ட்ராங் ஆகியோரின் மியூசிக் கன்டக்டரும் இவர்தானாம். சமீபத்தில் வெளிவந்த பிரமாண்ட படமான இன்சப்ஷனிலும் மாட் டங்க்ளியின் பங்கு முக்கியமானது.

ரஹ்மான் சமீபத்தில் லண்டனில் நடத்திய மிகப்பெரிய மியூசிக் கான்சர்ட்டை யாரும் மறந்திருக்க முடியாது. அங்கேயும் மாட் டங்க்ளியின் 'மைண்ட்ஷிப்' ரொம்பவே கை கொடுத்ததாம் இசைப்புயலுக்கு!

My response was not for you. It was for the 15 lakh genius. I do agree that there are lot of junk news floating around in the net. North Indian media is now doing to ARR what Tamil media did to him when he started concentrating more on Bollywood.
