A quick summary of some words for you....
அமரர், - (மரித்தல் ) அ+மரி+அர்
அமிழ்து, அம்= சோறு. அம்+து, அம்+இழ்+து.
அவி - அவித்தல், இங்கு நெய்யில் இட்டு அவித்தல்.
ஆசாரம் - ஆ = ஆகுதல்; சார் (தல்_); சார் >சாரம். ஆவன மேற்கொண்டு சார்ந்து தொடர்ந்து ஒழுகுதல்;
ஆசை - மனமொன்றன்பால் அசைந்து செல்லுதல் (முதனிலை திரிந்த தொழிற்பெயர் _
ஆதி - ஆக்க காலம். ஆதல் - ஆதி

இலக்கம்- இலக்கித்தல். வரையப்பட்ட குறி.,
கணம் - கண் = இடம்; கண்+அம் > கணம்.
கருமம், கருத்தல் = செய்தல் என்பது மறைந்த தமிழ்ச் சொல். கரு > கருவி.
கரு+அணம் = காரணம். ஏன் செய்யப்பட்டதென்பது.
கரு ,பழைய மறைந்த வினைச்சொல்
காமம், காமன், - கா, காம், காமுறு, காமம். காமன் என்பவை இந்தோ ஐரொப்பிய மொழிகளில் இல்லை.
காலம், = கால் +அம்; நீண்டு செல்வது. Refer to S K Chatterji: not found in Avestan. (Dravidian Tamil word.)
சலம்,= " சல சல" ஒலியடிப்படைச் சொல்.
சூது; சூழ்தல் என்ற வினையடிப் பிறந்த சொல்.
சூழ் > சூ > சூது.
சூதர்,
தண்டம்- தண்டப்படுவது; குற்றத்திற்காகப் பறிக்கப்படும் தொகை.
தவம் : தபு> தபு+அம் > தபம் > தவம்; தபுதல் - கெடுதல்; பற்று அழித்தல்.
தானம்> தா+(அ)ன்+அம், பிறருக்குத் தரப்படுவது;
தொடரும்.
