Sigappu Rojakkal 2 is on the way
Few decades ago, a movie that made people rethink the metaphorical meaning of a 'Red Rose' and gave it an antagonistic view was Sigappu Rojakkal. While one typically relates red rose to romance, fun and exoticism, this movie was all about deadly, eerie and uncanny visuals. This was one of the legendary thrillers in Tamil cinema.
The movie was already remade back in 1980 in Hindi starring Rajesh Khanna. Now, sources say that Sigappu Rogakkal is all set for its part two. While the first part had the legendary music composer Ilaiyaraja's background score, the sequel is said to feature G V Prakash as the music director. Talks are still on to decide the director of the movie. It is said that it could be Bharathiraja himself or his son Manoj Bharathiraja.
Will the title be the same? Are there going to be more than two songs? We have to wait for more updates in the coming days.

ஒரே சமயத்தில் கமல்ஹாசன் மூன்று படங்களில் நடித்து முடிக்கப் போகிறார். 'விஸ்வரூபம் 2' படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு ஏறக்குறைய முழுவதுமாக முடிந்து விட்ட நிலையில் இன்னும் ஒரு சில காட்சிகள் மட்டுமே படமாக்கப்பட வேண்டுமாம். சில மாதங்களுக்கு முன்பே இப்படம் முடிவடைந்து வெளிவரும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்பட்டது. ஆனால், தயாரிப்பாளருக்கும் கமல்ஹாசனுக்கும் இடையே பிரச்சனை எழுந்ததால் படப்பிடிப்பு பாதிக்கப்பட்டது.
கமல்ஹாசனும் 'உத்தம வில்லன்' படத்தில் நடிக்கப் போய்விட்டார். இப்போது அந்தப் படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பும் முடிவடைந்து படத்தின் இறுதிக்கட்டப் பணிகள் மும்முரமாக நடந்து வருகின்றன. இப்படம் கமல்ஹாசன் பிறந்த நாளான நவம்பர் 7ம் தேதி வெளியாகும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்பட்டது.
ஆனால், இன்னும் இசை வெளியீடு, டீஸர் வெளியீடு என எதுவுமே நடைபெறாத நிலையிலும், நவம்பரில் 'ஐ' படம் வெளியாக உள்ளதாலும் 'உத்தம வில்லன்' படத்தின் வெளியீடு தள்ளிப் போக வாய்ப்புள்ளதாகத் தெரிகிறது. டிசம்பரில் ரஜினிகாந்த் நடித்துள்ள 'லிங்கா' வெளிவர உள்ளதால் 'உத்தம வில்லன்' படத்தை ஒருவழியாக பொங்கலுக்கு வெளியிடலாமா என யோசித்து வருகிறார்களாம். அதோடு கமல்ஹாசன் மூன்றாவதாக தற்போது மலையாள ரீமேக்கான 'பாபநாசம்' படத்தில் நடித்து வருகிறார். இப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பும் இன்னும் ஒரு சில வாரங்களில் முடிந்து விடுமாம். ஒரே வருடத்தில் கமல்ஹாசன் நடித்து அடுத்தடுத்து மூன்று படங்களின் படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்றது இதுவே முதல் முறை என்கிறார்கள். ஆனால், இந்த மூன்று படங்களும் இந்த ஆண்டிலேயே வெளிவர வாய்ப்பிருக்குமா என்பதே ரசிகர்களின் எதிர்பார்ப்பாக உள்ளது.
'விஸ்வரூபம் 2, பாபாநாசம்' படங்கள் கண்டிப்பாக அடுத்த வருடம்தான் வெளிவரும் என்பதை உறுதியாகச் சொல்லலாம். ஆனால், கமல்ஹாசன் ரசிகர்கள் 'உத்தம வில்லன்' படத்தை இந்த ஆண்டே வெளியானால் நன்றாக இருக்கும் என்ற எதிர்பார்ப்புடன் இருக்கிறார்கள்.
