hehehewalrus would you classify glycerides and/or other chemicals, preservatives obtained from animals as non-veg cause then there are a whole lot of ready-made/microw foods that cannot be eaten...

While my husband eats veg food and I am non-veg person, our habits are similar and my diet varies a wee bit may be a few days in the month when I eat fish (generally tuna) or chicken!
Also, when you realise that you don't fall sick as often because you are eating healthy food, you tend to resist temptation :)
The other couple of things that help are variety and having food on time. Only if you do not have variety you tend to get tempted to eat the wrong type of food. And if you eat on time, you won't feel hungry at odd times and eat whatever you get :)
