Kollywood is on all time high with Superstar Rajinikanth’s Lingaa entering the 100 crore club in the least time possible. As Rajini continues to create history with his box office pull, cinemalead.com brings you the list of Tamil films that have entered the prestigious 100 crore club in the recent past.
The credit of breaking first into the l00 crore club goes to Superstar Rajinikanth and it was his Sivaji that entered the 100 crore club in 2007. The movie produced by AVM was directed by Shankar and AR Rahman scored the music. Shriya Saran was the leading lady of the movie and the movie was about how Rajini fight backs a system which is corrupted beyond repair and wins over it. Thala is the leader. Time to lead his generation. I think it's truly mind-bending that Thala could achieve 100C with any directors and while for others it remains a dream. Even collaboration with big directors fail to woo the audiences and collect 100c only in twitter ;)
I was expecting RUN videos today ;). I mean run from dmk to admk and back to dmk. run'ku bathila jump'nu vaichukkalaam
