I don't disagree with your last sentence. Personally, I wouldn't proselytize as I believe there is a reason for anyone to be born in a family following a particular faith. I think though I have the right to change that, I shouldn't (and wouldn't) but to each his own.

However, I still think his friends should not worry about his choice. Yuvan is a senior composer and knows what he is doing. He has made a conscious decision and if he thinks it is good for him, no one need to worry about it.

இன்னொன்று, மதம் மாறும் அமைப்பு என்று ஜாதகத்தில் உண்டு. அவரது ஜாதகத்தில் அந்த அமைப்பு இருந்தால் அதை மாற்ற முடியாது. அவரது பிறந்த நேரம் தெரிந்தால் இதை பற்றி தெரிந்தவர்கள் ஆராயலாம்.

சனாதன தர்மம் தழைத்தோங்க நாம் நமது கடமைகளை செய்து தர்ம வழியில் நடந்தாலே போதுமானது. மற்றவர்கள் நம்பிக்கைகளை பற்றி கவலை கொள்ள தேவையில்லை. "சனாதன" என்றால் அழியாதது, மாறாதது என்று பொருள் உண்டு என்று படித்திருக்கிறேன். அதற்கேற்றார் போல், உலகின் மிக பழமையான மதம்/வாழ்க்கை முறை இன்றும் பலரால் கடைபிடிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. தமிழ் அவர்கள் கூறியது போல் ஒரு யுவன் சங்கர் இராஜா மதம் மாறுவதால் ஒரு பிரச்சனையும் இல்லை.
